The program presently serves preschool children<br />
(3 to 5 years old) and their families who meet<br />
poverty guidelines, by operating classes four days<br />
a week from mid August through mid May.<br />

This is the oldest and largest day care center in<br />
the city. The center takes infants to eight or nine<br />
year olds. There are set fees, and there is a<br />
waiting list.<br />

Provides family-centered child care in a safe,<br />
healthy, nurturing environment for children ages<br />
six weeks to ten years who are homeless or near<br />
homeless.<br />
Provides assistance to their families in finding and<br />
using community resources to enable them to<br />
work, finish school, or pursue training.<br />
Involves and educates the community <strong>of</strong> the<br />
needs <strong>of</strong> homeless families.<br />
