Early Head Start's (EHS) purpose is to enhance
the physical, social, emotional and intellectual
development of children between the ages of 0-3.
Center and home-based services offered are:
Parent Education
Child Development
Child Care
Screening and Assessments for Infants and
Toddlers
Dona Ana Healthy Start believes "Every baby
deserves a healthy start in life." Helps pregnant
women access early, ongoing prenatal care and
social/support services. Assists parenting families
with babies age 0-2 stay connected to a medical
home and monitors infant development.
Services include:
Outreach
Families FIRST Care Coordination
Health and Psycho social Assessments
Depression Assessments
Family Planning
Prenatal/Post-Partum Health Education
Breast-feeding Support
Parenting Education
Community Development
Adolescent Family Life Program (AFLP)
offers services including health-related prenatal
and parenting education for teen parents, family
support for parenting teens (male and female) 18
and under, individual, group and family
counseling, and prevention of domestic violence.
Open Monday-Friday, 8 AM-12 PM, and 1 PM-
5PM.
*Ex-offenders welcome.
