This non-pr<strong>of</strong>it corporation gives legal services,<br />
without cost (except for court costs), to poor<br />
persons who qualify and live in the 16 counties <strong>of</strong><br />
southern New Mexico. Examples <strong>of</strong> cases handled<br />
include divorces, custody <strong>of</strong> the children,<br />
adoptions, and other civil law cases.<br />
Eligibility depends upon a number <strong>of</strong> factors such<br />
as residency, financial condition, and type <strong>of</strong><br />
problem. All applications are made by phone.<br />
Open Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-Noon, and 1 PM-<br />
5 PM.<br />
Language Services: English and Spanish.<br />
*Ex-<strong>of</strong>fenders welcome, will not work with<br />
criminal law.<br />
