Displaced Homemaker's Office: The Displaced
Homemakers/Women in Transition Program is
dedicated to providing women in transition and
displaced homemakers with the skills and
confidence to help them achieve economic and
emotional self-sufficiency for themselves and their
families.
TeamWorks: Instructors offer a program of
personal and professional development skills, as
well as computer skills and training, deemed
important in the work place. Employment
consultants guide career exploration, resume
preparation and job search. Clients are able to
select professional clothing from the clothes
closet. Additionally, Licensed Professional Clinical
Counselors work to help participants begin to
address mental health, substance abuse and/or
other person/interpersonal concerns that have
affected success.
*Female ex-offenders welcome.
One stop career center providing services for
career counseling; job referrals; Work Search
Skills Workshop; and resource center (computers;
typing tests; fax/copier service; long distance
phone calls; software programs to create
resumes).
Job seekers must register with the Department of
Labor.

cost for women going on job interviews or
