Once a child has been approved for the program
this number may be called for information
regarding their coverage, as well as other
information pertaining to their benefits.
Benefits include:
No cost or low cost health coverage for children
under age 19. Program pays for check-ups,
doctor visits, dental visits, hospital care,
prescriptions, glasses, hearing, and vision exams.
How to apply:
Apply at most clinics, hospitals, primary care
providers, and schools, or apply at HSD Income
Support Division Offices.
Requirements:
If household income is less than 185% of Federal
Poverty Guidelines, there is no cost; if it is
between 185% and 235% of the guidelines, there
may be co-payments for some services.

Health Clinic one day per week: Immunizations;
evaluation of depression and other psychological
issues; social services and family case
management.
Meals, day shelter showers, laundry, local calls,
storage, clothing. Tuesday-Friday 9 AM-4 PM.
Automotive Repairs; Travelers Aid; Medical &
Prescription Expenses; Uniforms for Employment;
School Supplies; Identification Cards.
Free legal assistance Wednesdays at 1 PM.
Free haircuts Fridays, 9 AM–11 AM.
