The center <strong>of</strong>fers a safe and fun environment<br />

after school, and during the summer for schoolage<br />

children. These programs are designed to<br />

<strong>of</strong>fer children quality activities which in return can<br />

reduce juvenile delinquency, substance and drug<br />

abuse, and violence and crime in our<br />

communities. Children will increase their<br />

personal and social skills, self-esteem, and<br />

various educational and recreational skills.<br />

Tutoring and other fun educational activities are<br />

<strong>of</strong>fered, as well as many exciting recreational<br />

activities, such as arts and crafts, sports and<br />

games, archery, dance and music, and computer<br />

technology. Field trips have included swimming,<br />

bowling, and other day trips.<br />

Parents can also benefit from community learning<br />

centers by participating in parenting programs,<br />

resources and referrals, Family Nights, and more.<br />

Free computer classes, as well as standard library<br />

services, are <strong>of</strong>fered to all residents <strong>of</strong> Las Cruces<br />

and Dona Ana county.<br />

-6 PM; Saturday 10 AM-6 PM; and Sundays,<br />
