Vocational program serving adults with
developmental disabilities. Services are provided
through three primary program components.
Work Services: based at the facility site but
includes community-based enclaves and work
crews; “Lawn Rangers” are a yard maintenance
crew, and “Rag Bag Rugs” are handwoven rugs.
Group-Supported Employment: integrated
benchwork model employing disabled and nondisabled
workers at “Wood Corners Products.” All
types of furniture and lattice are made there.
Individual-Supported Employment: places
workers in community-based businesses and
provides training and support to the employee
through Job Coaches.
*Ex-offenders welcome however, must be active
clients of the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
with the State of New Mexico.
Works with tribal members and Native Americans
who are living on the reservation.
