Vocational program serving adults with<br />

developmental disabilities. Services are provided<br />

through three primary program components.<br />

Work Services: based at the facility site but<br />

includes community-based enclaves and work<br />

crews; “Lawn Rangers” are a yard maintenance<br />

crew, and “Rag Bag Rugs” are handwoven rugs.<br />

Group-Supported Employment: integrated<br />

benchwork model employing disabled and nondisabled<br />

workers at “Wood Corners Products.” All<br />

types <strong>of</strong> furniture and lattice are made there.<br />

Individual-Supported Employment: places<br />

workers in community-based businesses and<br />

provides training and support to the employee<br />

through Job Coaches.<br />

*Ex-<strong>of</strong>fenders welcome however, must be active<br />

clients <strong>of</strong> the Division <strong>of</strong> Vocational Rehabilitation<br />

with the State <strong>of</strong> New Mexico.<br />

Works with tribal members and Native Americans<br />

who are living on the reservation.<br />

Employment and training services; Internships;<br />

Higher Education; Laguna Acoma Vocational<br />

Rehabilitation Project.<br />
