The program presently serves preschool children<br />
(3 to 5 years old), and their families who meet<br />
poverty guidelines, by operating classes four days<br />
a week from mid August through mid May.<br />
Head Start I Hours Monday-Thursday, 8 AM-<br />
11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM-4 PM.<br />
Head Start II Hours Monday-Thursday, 8 AM-<br />
11:30 AM, and Noon-4 PM.<br />
Head Start III Hours Monday-Thursday, 8 AM-<br />
11:30 AM, and 12:30 PM-4 PM.<br />
Head Start IV Hours Monday-Thursday, 8 AM-<br />
5 PM.<br />
Language Services: English and Spanish.<br />

To assist with the cost <strong>of</strong> child care in public and<br />
private child care centers or private family child<br />
care; homes for low-income families in situations<br />
where the parent(s) are working, in school, or in a<br />
training program.<br />
All child care providers must also be at least 18<br />
years <strong>of</strong> age, and not an immediate household<br />
member.<br />
Priority is given to teen parents, under the age <strong>of</strong><br />
20, who are still in high school.<br />

The CSED is a Division <strong>of</strong> the State <strong>of</strong> New Mexico<br />
Government Offices. The primary service <strong>of</strong> the<br />
bureau is to enforce the payment <strong>of</strong> child support.<br />
