7.4.3.3 Cast Iron Container<br />

The cast iron container is a multi-purpose cask mainly used for the processing, handling and<br />

storage of ILW. As this container provides a safe handling and storage enclosure it is suitable<br />

for dewatered resins, evaporator concentrates and other components of higher specific<br />

activities.
