PLATE ATTACHMENT PINS
PRN100C
PDN100
Fig. 156.1
The pins in the illustration on the right are used to anchor the electro mechanical plates
inside the cabinets and consoles. They are part of the assembly kit and are usually not
provided separately (they are not quoted on the price list).
The PRN 100 pin is used to anchor the bottom of the electro mechanical plates of the
cabinets.
The PRN 100C, PRN100L and PRN100Y pins differ from each other as far as the lengths
of the cylindrical tangs are concerned, which are respectively 11, 16 and 20 mm in length.
They are used prevalently in the consoles and sometimes in cabinets when anchoring of
the plate is done on the vertical sides.
PRN100L
In Fig. 156.6 an example of application of the PRN100 pin
is illustrated, with the cap for the electro mechanical plate
PDN100. The sequence of assembly is described on page
26; it is the typical assembly of the plate in the AZ, AX, AF
and AS series cabinets.
In Fig. 156.6, an example of the application of pins
PRN100C, PRN100L or PRN100Y is shown; the pin is
attached to the vertically bored crosspiece with a cage nut,
with a laterally grooved plate for anchorage on the pin. This
is a typical anchoring application of the plate on consoles or
cabinets where there is no possibility to place the plate on
the bottom crosspiece. The choice of the type C, L or Y pin
depends on the distance at which the plate can be placed
with respect to the crosspiece.
