COMPATIBILITY
Electro magnetic compatibility is an increasingly important
requirement today, because the great number of electronic
devices used require a high level of protection from disturbances,
and current norms make screening a necessity.
EMC - BRACES FOR ELECTRO MAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY
The most rapid, efficient and economic system to mitigate
electro magnetic disturbances is to apply contact braces,
flat earth connections, and introduce screened cables.
These devices, which are suitable to create continuity between
the structure and the removable parts, are sufficient to
obtain good values of abatement, maintaining costs low and
with the advantage of being suitable for application even
after installation or set up of the electrical cabinet.
To obtain good screening, 12 to 18 braces are advised on
the sides and doors, 8 to 12 on the roof and bottom.
STRUCTURE AND GALVANISED PANELS
In order to improve the level of electro magnetic protection,
panels realised entirely in galvanised sheet metal can be
ordered. These panels, painted only externally and equipped
with gaskets in screened rubber, guarantee both electro
magnetic continuity between the structure and moving
parts, and the level of IP 55 protection.
FILTERS AND FANS
All new series 7 filters (page 161) are available with EMC
protection. The IP 54 level of protection, in any case, is
respected.
