AZ – Frame with upper and lower closures
The AZ frame is the basic structural element of the AZ modular cabinet. It is made
up of two vertical struts in 2 mm thick press bent sheet steel, an upper and lower
vertical section of the same length, electro welded together by a robot welding station.
Two of these frames are successively joined, again with electro welding, by cross
pieces for the depth of the cabinet. The cross pieces are also in 2 mm thick sheet
steel and are shaped to accommodate the side panels, the upper and lower panels
(see Fig. 58.1).
When the welding is complete the frames are washed, degreased and painted.
The lower part of frames measuring 1600 or greater are reinforced with a central
strut and two additional cross pieces in depth in the central part of the bottom,
so that it is possible to make the rear part modular (two rear panels) and the supports
for the electro mechanical plates are made up of two pieces. Although they
are mobile, the blind roof, the bottom with the cable passage opening and relative
closure plate are included in the frame. Fig. 58.1
