It is extremely important for all parts of the equipment
under tension to be insulated and protected
during the phases of installation and maintenance.
All of the connections must be performed and tightened
according to specifications. Wire diameters
must be adequate, as well as protection against
accidental contacts. Following transportation, all
screw-tightened connections must be checked and
restored if necessary.

Bar systems and their components are the result of design and
production capabilities gained from years of experience.
Over the years, they have been subjected to continuous testing,
have obtained homologation from the most demanding institutions
and are employed in the most disparate applications.
Nevertheless, in order to avoid ranger to persons and property,
which could arise during electrical connection, it is recommended
that these systems and their components be used only by
qualified and appropriately instructed personnel. In particular, all
operations relative to installation, maintenance, modification and
enlargement of these distribution systems must be performed
by qualified personnel, in respect of safety regulations and
norms applicable to electrical equipment.

The products must be utilised only for the applications they were designed
for.
All of the products, bars, supports, bar covers, sections and terminals are
available in various dimensions.
The recommended position for installation of all of the components is the
vertical position, on systems with horizontal bars.
Positions in which the force of gravity acts in an opposite direction with
respect to movement of the contacts are not admissible.
For the installation of several components alongside each other, it is necessary
to apply the factors of de-classification shown in table 1 of the DIN EN
60439-1 norms.
Additionally, the maximum temperatures for the various parts in thermally
hardening plastic must be respected. The properties of the materials
shown in the following pages always refer to families of products. In some
case, for individual articles in a family, greater values may be reached.
