The round tubes have a diameter of 70 and 48 mm, respectively with
openings for the passage of cables that have a diameter of 62 and 42
mm. The possible types of compositions are shown in figures 176.1 and
176.2, where the various circled numbers correspond to particular elements
of the system.
In the following pages, the various components of the entire system of
joints are shown schematically and divided between anchoring bases,
intermediate swivel connections and terminal connections for attachment
of the box. Analogously, the various rectangular and cylindrical connection
tubes are shown with the availability of different lengths.
The various maximum load capacities of the different types of compositions,
on the other hand, is shown schematically below.
The class of protection of the modular elements is IP 54 /EN 60529.

The systems of modular suspension consist of elements
that can be coupled, which use a multi-variable technology.
The coupling of the various elements permits easy
and simple installation of cables, rapid alignment of the
system and the possibility to sustain average light loads
(400÷300 N). They are built in cast aluminium G Al Si
12 and the tubular connections are in Fe. The joints are
painted with Standard RAL 7040 (grey) powder and the
connection tubes with standard RAL 7035 (light grey)
powder.
The bellow-like gaskets are of a similar grey colour to the
RAL 7035. The dimensions of the connection tubes are
60 x 40 mm with an opening for cable passage of 54 x
34 mm.
