33 3.1 Medspiration data product coverage
33 3.1.1 Global coverage
33 URD-083 European area users requiring global coverage SST data products should these data from the GHRSST-PP GDAC. It is
not foreseen that Medspiration will produce global coverage SST data products. Clearly though, if GHRSST-PP is to
generate a real time global coverage SST data product it is important that Medspiration delivers L2P SST data products in
a timely manner and fulfil the role of a GHRSST-PP RDAC under the GHRSST-PP RGTS implementation model.

33 3.1.2 European GHRSST-PP RDAC coverage (EURDAC)
33 URD-084 The core of Medspiration will be to generate SST products over the Atlantic Ocean and adjoining Seas which is influential
for local forecasting activities in the European area.
34 URD-085 The Atlantic product should encompass the area 70S to 90N (to the ice limit) and from 100W to 45E (to include the
adjacent seas) at a resolution of 1/12º (~10km) as shown in Figure 3.1.2.1. At this scale all data input sources used by
