System Requirements Document Issue F
Page Table, fig. Reference ID Text from reference documents
37 URD-108 Table 4.2.1 provides a summary of the data streams that should be considered by the Medspiration data processing
SR entry
SYS.0030
system. All of these data sets are available in real time and have either no data usage agreement or a special data
agreement that has been negotiated for the GHRSST-PP project.
37 URD-109 In some cases data providers have stipulated that all data must be used for the sole purpose of the GHRSST-PP. As
SYS.0040
37 4.3 Data products
Medspiration intends to generate and disseminate combined L2 data products (as opposed to the native L2 data streams
themselves) there are no data product dissemination limitations associated with use of these L2 data streams.
3 URD-110 The Medspiration Project must be capable of insertion into the implementation strategy of GHRSSTPP, becoming a
SYS.0010
Regional Data Assembly Centre and capable of contributing regional coverage GHRSST-PP EURDAC area L2P data
products (as defined in the GPM) to Global Data Analysis Centres in real time. In addition, European area coverage L4
analysed data products should be produced to satisfy European user needs. The required data products are:
37 URD-111 • Collated products (L2P) for each input sensor. L2P data products should be made available to European users in real
time via special agreement. L2P data products for a single sensor should be consolidated to provide a single L2P data file
SYS.0050
SYS.0100
for each sensor at 6 hourly intervals. These data should also be passed to the GHRSST-PP GDAC in near real time.
37 URD-112 • A static archive of L2P data products that can (a) serve the needs of the GHRSST-PP reanalysis project and (b) be used
as the starting point for any reprocessing effort if required. Because the data quality flagging for L2P data is experimental,
it is important for the pilot project phase of GHRSST to be able to revisit the flagging criteria following quality analysis,
which is facilitated by preserving a static archive.
37 URD-113 • Level 4 analysed SSTfnd for Ultra High Resolution areas. The analysed product is the result of combining all available
SYS.0080
SST observations using an optimal interpolation (OI) scheme described in [RD-3].
37 URD-114 • GHRSST-PP diagnostic data set granules as described in [RD-4] SYS.0070
