advantages and disadvantages. It is recommended you use A and B and C.”<br />

Say, “These are some <strong>of</strong> the ways you can protect yourself and others from<br />

<strong>HIV</strong>/<strong>AIDS</strong>”<br />

• Use safer sex practices (condoms) every time you have sex<br />

• Learn as much as you can about <strong>HIV</strong><br />

• When you have symp<strong>to</strong>ms that could be related <strong>to</strong> <strong>HIV</strong>, don’t allow yourself or<br />

your doc<strong>to</strong>r <strong>to</strong> overlook the possibility <strong>of</strong> <strong>HIV</strong> infection<br />

• Consider getting tested.<br />

Ask the students <strong>to</strong> tell a friend which strategies they will use and why.<br />
