9 I'm a ten year commercial salmon fisherman<br />
10 in <strong>the</strong> past in <strong>the</strong> San Juans, and avid sports<br />
11 fisherman and retired pastor, including pastor of <strong>the</strong><br />
12 Lopez Island Congregational Church, and president of<br />
13 <strong>the</strong> Friends of <strong>the</strong> San Juans.<br />
14 Please measure <strong>the</strong> impact of noise from<br />
15 increased large tanker traffic on marine life.<br />
16 Currently <strong>the</strong> subsurface volume of noise in<br />
17 Rosario Strait from tanker traffic on my property is<br />
18 conspicuous compared to 20 years ago.<br />
19 What impact will additional traffic in our<br />
20 islands have on <strong>the</strong> noise level <strong>for</strong> endangered orcas,<br />
21 Chinook salmon, and water fowl, as well as o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
22 marine life. Thank you.<br />
