3 I request that you consider what impact all<br />
4 four of <strong>the</strong>se aspects will have on <strong>the</strong> <strong>Pacific</strong><br />
5 herring, <strong>the</strong> coho, <strong>the</strong> orcas, and o<strong>the</strong>r marine<br />
6 species.<br />
7 An SSA Marine spokesperson has said that<br />
8 this proposed terminal will not harm this particular<br />
9 spawning ground. Un<strong>for</strong>tunately we can't take its word<br />
10 <strong>for</strong> this because of its track record on environmental<br />
11 compliance.<br />
12 I have a copy of <strong>the</strong> letter here from <strong>the</strong><br />
13 Department of Ecology to <strong>Pacific</strong> International<br />
14 <strong>Terminal</strong>s, Incorporated, a subsidiary of SSA Marine,<br />
15 about a violation of <strong>the</strong> Clean Water Act in August of<br />
16 2011. I will attach it to my comments.<br />
17 In review, my question is how is SSA going<br />
18 to mitigate irreparable harm to <strong>the</strong> ecology of <strong>the</strong><br />
19 Salish Sea. Thank you.<br />
