Supplemental explanation of parameter “I”<br />

When Gen2 tag is used, options for the parameter “I” are as follows:<br />

I1: TID & User area data<br />

I2: EPC data<br />

I3: EPC data + TID & User area data<br />

As the readability of the TID & User area differs depending on the tag manufacturers,<br />

refer to the memory map of each tag.<br />

Example)<br />

• In the case of OMRON’s Gen2 tag<br />

4-byte TID area is readable, and the user area is read/write protected.<br />

• In the case of HITACHI’s Gen2 tag (Hibiki)<br />

8-byte TID area is readable/writable and 30-byte user area is readable/writable.<br />
