Heavy Duty Shower Components
Fixture Specification:
This Heavy Duty Shower is designed for areas requiring the utmost in vandal
resistance. The fixture is fabricated from heavy 14 gauge type 304 stainless
steel. It is seamlessly welded and polished to a satin finish.
Shower head has a flow rate of 2.4 gpm (9 lpm). Equipped with an air
operated self closing valve adjustable from approximately 5 to 60 seconds.
Installation:
These fixtures are designed to be installed onto finished walls which are
serviceable from a pipe chase. Installation is achieved by threading 1/2”
(13mm) diameter anchor rods to the back of the fixture plate. The anchor
rods are then secured on the chase side of the wall with supplied hardware.
(Standard included hardware is for walls up to 8" (20cm) thick).
For existing walls, an optional metal cutout template is available. For new
block (CMU) or poured concrete walls, an optional wall sleeve is available.
Available Controls:
The shower is controlled with an air-operated self closing valve with a non-hold
open feature. Flow time is adjustable from approximately 5 to 60 seconds.
The valve is operated by a vandal resistant push button which requires less
than 5lbs to operate. The valve can be mounted up to 10 feet (3meters) away
from the push button. Valve conforms to the requirements of ASME
A112.18.1-2005/CSA B125.1-05.
