Structuredprogramming, object-oriented design, and thetesting of programs will be stressed, emphasizingplatform independent application development.CSCI 289 (4)–Java Programming IIPrerequisite: CSCI 188. This course is a continuationof CSCI 188. It covers advancedJava programming techniques and object-orienteddesign including exceptions, advancedinput/output, object serialization and threads.Additional topics include one or more of thefollowing: server-side applications, JavaServerpages, servlets, and database programming.143
