Three hourslecture and discussion, three hours mountedinstruction, and at least four hours independentmounted work with a schooling project, weekly.Offered alternate years.RDPR 396 (3)–Contemporary Riding andTeachingPrerequisites: Completion of at least one200-level riding course and permission of theinstructor. The study and practice of ridingand teaching within a modern system of riding.Mounted instruction, lectures, and practiceteaching. Offered alternate years in the summer.RDPR 461 (1, 2, or 3)–Independent StudyPrerequisites: One 100-level RDPR course, one200-level RDPR course, and permission of theinstructor.
