Accordingly, the franchise has automatically enshrinedmembers of the 49ers family who have either had their jersey numbersalready retired by the organization or have been selected to the Pro Football Hallof Fame in Canton, Ohio. These players include: John Brodie, Dwight Clark, FredDean, Jimmy Johnson, John Henry Johnson, Charlie Krueger, Ronnie Lott, HughMcElhenny, Joe Montana, Leo Nomellini, Joe Perry, Bob St. Clair, Y.A.
