Scott Rotier is in his fourth year as an assistant equipment managerfor the 49ers. Prior to his arrival in the Bay Area, Rotier livedand worked in the Washington, D.C. metro area.Rotier joined the 49ers at the start of the 2008 training camp afterserving as the head equipment manager for Episcopal High Schoolin Alexandria, VA, from 2007 to 2008. While at EHS, he was responsiblefor the daily operation of 17 different sports and over 40 athleticteams. During the 2006 NFL season, he served as an equipmentintern for the Detroit Lions, where he was responsible for practiceand laundry.Rotier was born and raised in Kent City, MI, where he attended KentCity High School.
