You can have up to eight differentlightsTo move a light, click on the Position field on the Light tab andenter the coordinates in the dialog that appears. You can alsojust grab the light in the 3D view with your LMB and drag it towherever you like.Distant LightGenerally, a distant light is a light source which you only specifythe light direction. In Vertex Paint, the direction of the distant lightis measured as a vector from the light Position to the Origin.Moving the light position changes the vector direction.Choosing LightTo choose light, select one from the Name pop-up menu or clickthe light icon in the 3D view with your LMB, if it’s visible.Clicking on the checkbox next to the Name pop-up menuactivates the light and affects the calculations of the light sourceon the scene. Click the checkbox off to deactivate the lightsource. Inactive light sources do not illuminate the scene.
