For most of his adult life, Kelly was a wholesalegrocer in Columbus, Georgia. From 1900 to 1920, Samuel and SallieDimon were living in Muscogee County, Georgia with Sallie’s parents, Gideonand Josephine Peacock. Samuel Kelly Dimon, Sr. died on January 25, 1938 andSallie (Peacock) Dimon died on December 13, 1957. Both died at the Cedarshome in Columbus and were buried there in the Linwood Cemetery. SaraDimon is unmarried and lives in Columbus, Georgia.
