Ethel had beenpreviously married and had a son, Harry Lee Morris. Ethel was born on June30, 1887 in Anniston, Alabama and is the daughter of G. W. King and BonnieLou (Griswell) King. Joseph and Ethel Battley were the parents of three children:............Wilbur Allen Battley (2.3.3.3.2.1.3), b. June 24, 1914, Macon, Georgia............Bonnie Lou Battley (2.3.3.3.2.1.4), b. June 7, 1920............Marion Madison Battley (2.3.3.3.2.1.5), b. July 21, 1922Joseph Autry Battley was a Baptist Minister. Joseph died on October 21, 1932in Columbus, Georgia and was buried there in the Riverdale Cemetery. Ethel(King) Battley died on February 4, 1970 in Americus, Georgia and was buried inthe Riverdale Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia. Jimmy Battley died young andwas buried in the Patrick Cemetery in Muscogee County, Georgia.
