Daniel Baugh and Lucy(Brooks) Baugh were the parents of at least six children:............Daniel Baugh, II (1.1.1), b. 1781............Martha Baugh, b. 1783............William Baugh (1.1.2), b. 1788, Virginia............Sarah Baugh (1.1.3), b. 1789, Virginia............Frances Baugh (1.1.4), b. 1791............Peter Baugh (1.1.5), b. 1793According to Leonard McCown, Mary Baugh married Taliaferro Burnett andthey had four children. Mary (Baugh) Burnett died on March 29, 1856 in WilliamsonCounty, Tennessee and was buried there. According to LeonardMcCown, James Baugh married Margaret Smith in Mecklenburg County, Virginiaon December 3, 1800 and they had five children. According to the will ofBolling Clark, Elizabeth Baugh married Abram North before 1809 and they hadsix children. According to Joseph J. Baugh, Susannah Baugh married BarnetBeasley on September 29, 1790 in Brunswick County, Virginia. Barnet andSusannah Beasley had nine chidren. Susannah (Baugh) Beasley died between1840 and 1850 in either Hickman or Williamson County, Tennessee and wasburied there. According to Roberta Lumpkin, John Baugh married a Miss Bird.According to Joseph J. Baugh, Nancy Baugh married a Joseph Hough and thatthey were reported to have moved to Darlington County, South Carolina. Accordingto Roberta Lumpkin, Nancy Baugh married a second time to John Evanson January 28, 1817.The estate records of Daniel Baugh state that Martha Baugh married DanielWhite. On December 31, 1811, Frances Baugh married her first cousin, RobertBrooks in Putnam County, Georgia. Robert Brooks is the son of Jordan Brooks,Lucy’s brother. For additional information on the descendants of Robert andFrances Brooks, see the sketch of Robert Brooks (2.4).Lucy (Brooks) Baugh died between 1804 and 1812 as she was included in herfather’s will signed in 1804 and was not included in her husband’s will signed1812. Daniel Baugh’s will was written on March 16, 1812 and was proven incourt on December 10, 1816 indicating that Daniel Baugh died in 1816.
