Wyatt was born on September 30, 1805 in Edgefield County, SouthCarolina. On April 16, 1829, Wyatt Brooks married Margaret Clark in UpsonCounty, Georgia. Margaret was born on March 7, 1807 in Cumberland County,North Carolina and is the daughter of Gilbert Clark and Jennet Clark. From1830 to 1850, Wyatt lived in the following Georgia counties: Harris (1830),Talbot (1840) and Stewart (1850).
