Eli was fifteen and Margaret was elevenat this time and they came to Texas with their older half-brother, John W. Hill.On July 4, 1867, Margaret Hill married William Atwood Leath. William wasborn on February 1, 1826 in Alabama and is the son of James W. Leath (born1802 in Georgia).
