7-350 INTERACTIVE <strong>FAMILY</strong> HISTORIESOn January 31, 1946, Vivian Danforth married (over the telephone from Mason,Texas to Honolulu, Hawaii) Obie E. Newcomb. Obie was a Warrant Officer inthe United States Marine Corps, Fifth Division and was stationed in Honolulu atthe time of their marriage. In February of 1946, Vivian sailed to Honolulu onthe S. S. Arthur Middleton. While there, they had their wedding confirmed inthe St. Andrews Cathedral in Honolulu. They returned to the United States inOctober of 1946. Vivian was stationed at the Navy Headquarters in Washington,D. C. and Obie was stationed at Quantico, Virginia. Later, they both lived inArlington, Virginia. Obie and Vivian Newcomb had no children and were laterdivorced. Barney married a thirdtime to Fern Viner. Allen and Fern Brooks were the parents of four children:............Frank Brooks............Helena Brooks............Allen Brooks............Wyatt BrooksIn 1912, A. B. Brooks was living in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
