James was born on March 11, 1820 in Wilkinson County,Georgia. James was a Judge and at one time represented Talbot County in theGeorgia Legislature. On July 22, 1840, James Woodall married Frances“Franky” Wheeless in Talbot County, Georgia. Frances was born on February 1,1824 in Georgia and is the daughter of Hardy Wheeless and Frances (Lumpkin)Wheeless. James and Frances Woodall were the parents of twelve children:............Joseph Abner Woodall, b. June 26, 1842, Talbot County, Georgia............Sallie Missouri Woodall, b. Frances (Wheeless) Woodall died on June 2, 1890 and James D.Woodall died on February 8, 1891 in Talbot County, Georgia. Both were buriedin the Holmes-Miller Cemetery in Talbot County, Georgia. Joseph AbnerWoodall never marred and died on August 18, 1863 in Charleston, SouthCarolina. Joseph was a soldier in the Confederate Army when he died. In Novemberof 1867, Sallie Woodall married Samuel Zachariah Webster and theylost two infant sons. Sallie (Woodall) Webster died on July 1, 1887. In Februaryof 1876, Robert Woodall married Sallie Garland. Robert Woodall married asecond time to a Miss Harris and later a third time to Amelia R. Reeder. RobertWoodall had no children. On November 28, 1878, James Woodall, Jr. marriedJennie Blackmon White of Lebanon, Tennessee. James served in Company “K”,Ninth Georgia State Troops in the Commissary Department. James Woodall, Jr.died on April 28, 1910. John W. Woodall (born 1854) died as a young child onFebruary 3, 1855.On December 18, 1879, John Woodall (born 1855) married Mattie Pye (born1857 in Georgia). In 1880, John and Mattie Woodall were living in TalbotCounty, Georgia. On December 27, 1881, John Woodall married a second timeto Ida Kendrick. On December 18, 1879, Levi Woodall married Fannie M. Freeman.In 1880, Levia and Fannie Woodall were living in Talbot County, Georgia.Levi Woodall died on March 3, 1882. On December 10, 1884, DelaWoodall married Johnnie Velula Pye. Dela (Woodall) Pye died on May 20,1909. On December 20, 1883, Fannie Woodall married Walter Pope Miller.Fannie (Woodall) Miller died on April 8, 1950. On November 10, 1892, ElizabethWoodall married Emmett Miller (born August 18, 1860). Elizabeth(Woodall) Miller died on February 11, 1917 in Woodland, Georgia and was bur-
