Maude was born on January 1, 1879 and is the daughter of RandolphCalhoun Meeks (born 1836) and Rachel Ellen (Baker) Meeks (born 1845 inTexas). In 1900, Mart and Maude Brooks were living in Hays County, Texas.Mart and Maude Brooks were the parents of one son:............Orrell Jack Brooks (4.4.1), b. May 18, 1900, TexasFrancis Martin Brooks died on January 28, 1901 and was buried in theWimberley Cemetery in Wimberley, Texas. Maude later married Tom M.McClanahan (born 1881 in Texas). In 1930, Tom and Maude McClanahan wereliving in Hays County, Texas.
