Ella was born on November 8, 1860 and is the daughter of WilliamHiram Anderson and Lucinda (Franklin) Anderson (born 1836). Millard andElla Brooks were the parents of three children:............Millard Morse Brooks, b. April 1, 1882, Alabama............Minnie I. Brooks (1.2.3.7.2), b. January 28, 1886, Alabama............Leon Gilmore Brooks (1.2.3.7.3), b. November 7, 1889, Alabama............William Emmett Brooks, b. December 26, 1896, AlabamaMillard’s first business activities were telegraphy and later he was interested inthe lumber business. He was a telegrapher and station agent for the Louisvilleand Nashville Railroad at William and at Brewton. In 1886, he was elected bythe Democrats to the circuit clerkship of Escambia County, Alabama. In a specialact of legislature of 1888 - 1889, Millard F. Brooks was made ex officioclerk of the county court. He was also chairman of the Democratic executivecommittee of his county and was a Knight of Honor and Knight of Pythias. In1880, Millard F. Brooks was living with William R. Tate in Escambia County,Alabama. From 1900 to 1910, Millard and Ella Brooks were living in Brewton,Alabama in Escambia County, Alabama. In 1900, Millard M. Brooks graduatedwith a Bachelor of Science degree from the Alabama Polytechnic Institute.Millard M. Brooks was a cashier at the bank of Atmore. Millard Brooks died onJuly 8, 1915 in Brewton, Alabama and Ella (Anderson) Brooks died on August11, 1915 in Brewton, Alabama. Millard M. Brooks died on March 27, 1907 inBrewton, Alabama. In 1920, William E.
