Review (with input from the Older Adult Committee <strong>of</strong> <strong>Council</strong>) the Community Bus routesand destinations to ensure they meet the needs <strong>of</strong> older adults20. Improve the quality <strong>of</strong> the Community Bus by using a bus that is smoother in its ride, similar tothe buses with the ramp at the front <strong>of</strong> the bus. These are typically longer routes, being usedfor frailer adults – they need to be comfortable.21. Communicate the long-term transit plan to the public (e.g., plans to install shelters andbenches; plans to review routes and schedules)22. Increase the number <strong>of</strong> accessible taxis over the next 10 years, in 2-year increments, by 10%.23. Communicate to <strong>City</strong> residents that anyone who is physically unable to swipe a bus pass is stillable to ride the bus24. Undertake a review <strong>of</strong> the new transportation routes and schedules from the perspective <strong>of</strong>seniors.25.
