Sending FunctionsFTP Encrypted TXThis allows you to encrypt documents when you send them. If you select [On] in this option, you can then selectthe encryption method in the basic send screen.Use the procedure below to scan and send originals as encrypted files.1 Press the Send Key.2 Place the originals in the document processor or onthe platen.3 Press [Advanced Setup], [ ], and then [FTPEncrypted TX].4 Press [On].5 Press [OK].NOTE: You can only change the settings by logging inwith administrator privileges.Refer to Adding a User (Local User List) on page 10-5for the default login user name and password.Click Settings -> Advanced -> Secure Protocols in theEmbedded Web Server RX. Be sure that SSL ofSecure Protocol Settings is On and one or moreeffective encryption are selected in ClientsideSettings. For details, refer to the Embedded WebServer RX Operation Guide.6-38
