LILLIAN Fresh Air Home, at Valencia,
has made out its vacation list for the
season and those who dwell in the
tenement districts of the city and are fortunate
enough to be among those who will be
given a ten-day outing in the country, are
anxiously waiting for the time of their departures.
The first party will be at the Plome
from June twenty-fifth to July sixth; the
second from July ninth to twentieth; the
third, July twenty-third to August third; the
fourth, August sixth to seventeenth and the
last group goes August twentieth, to return
the last day of that month.
More than four months ago requests for
information about the Fresh Air Home began
coming into Kingsley House, proof in itself
of what Lillian Home means to the mothers
and their small children. Each Summer it is
a question of grave concern whether Kingsley
House shall have only four parties in the
country, or risk the fifth, with the probability
of a large deficit.
