George M. Cohan's latest New
York success, "The Baby Cyclone."
This American comedy,
a storm of laughter, just closed
a run of the entire season at
Henry Miller's Theatre, New
York, with Grant Mitchell as its
star. The New York press says,
"The best thing that George M.
Cohan has ever written," and
that is saying a great deal. "Sure
fire laughing farce." "It's a
great world, you bet your life it
is, with a Cohan farce in town."
Harry Bannister will play
Joseph Meadows, played in New
York by Grant Mitchell. Otherparts
are taken by Katherine
Wilson, Josephine Whittell, Fred
Sullivan, Kathryn Card and
other members of The Nixon
Players.
The action of "The Baby Cyclone"
revolves about four people
and a Pekinese pup. The complications
that arise over the
sale of this little pet and the stupidly
chivalrous efforts of one of
the men are too numerous to detail,
but if you have ever loved
known any of these things, you
are due for one of the most continuously
funny evenings in theatrical
ages when you go to the
Nixon next week.
"The Baby Cyclone" is presented
and directed by John
Hayden, who has directed a
great many New York successes.
The entire production will be
under the personal supervision
of Ann Harding.
dress as one; Jay Sieler, a faststepping,
toe and acrobatic dancer,
and Charlie Wilkins, eccentric
comedian. The Grete-Bourman
dancers, a bevy of twelve
snappy girls, will bob in and out
of the show in coordinated fashion.
The photoplay feature for the
week will be "The Port of Missing
Girls." The program will include
in the news of the world and
