Description of the context“My name is Arjeta Zhubi. Since 2007 I have been working for the Italianorganization AVSI. I am responsible for socio-educational activities thattake place in elementary education system and pre-school institutions. Theproject being implemented aims at supporting children with specific needs,in particular groups of children from Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian (RAE)communities. The organization of literacy courses, study support and otherfree recreational activities, and the organization for the first time of a preschoolchildren’s group from the RAE community aim at integration ofthese children in the education system. By means of the above-mentionedactivities and consultancies with parents from this community, the childrenare encouraged to register in the first grade and regularly continue theireducation”.D.2.2.
