This way, you can have many moreduplicates of a particular shape than are provided. Onceagain, select distinctly different shapes for the first exercise,and gradually increase the difficulty of the exercises until thechild is able to match all the various pictured shapes. (Sheshould, by now, be able to match by shape and ignore colordifferences.)<strong>Activity</strong> 16: Colored shape cardsPlay Lotto using the colored shape cards. Spread severalshape cards on the <strong>Light</strong> <strong>Box</strong> for the child and several foryourself. Place the shape cards which match the ones youhave selected in a pile. Take turns with the child drawingfrom the pile. If you or he draws a card for which you havethe match, place it over the matching card. If you do nothave a match, return the card to the bottom of the pile.Whoever is first to find matches for all his cards is the winnerof this game.54
