E cología / Ecology
El agua —ese líquido incoloro, inodoro
e insípido que recorre todos los
ecosistemas del mundo— proporciona
vida a su paso. A veces silenciosa,
Water –the colorless, odorless,
and tasteless liuid that
runs through every ecosystem
in the world– brings
life to everything it touches.
ometimes it is silent, sliding from ice to rivers,
while other times it is deafening, plunging
down mountains or seeding over raids.
oday, however, the worlds water faces a
crisis and many ecosystems are crying out
silently for hel. laciers, which cover 10
of the Earth and account for more than 75%
of the world’s fresh water, are retreating.
