The Social and Environmental Responsibility Policy reflects<br />

the Company’s recognition that there is a strong, positive<br />

correlation between financial performance and corporate,<br />

IT Governance Policy<br />

At Mughal Steel we are strongly committed in continuously<br />

exploring the prospects of implementing the best and latest<br />

IT technologies and infrastructure to enable efficient and<br />

timely decision making, in addition to economizing on the<br />

costs related to operating and decision making processes.<br />

IT Governance policy consists of the following:<br />

• Providing an organized decision making process<br />

around IT investment decisions;<br />

• Promoting governance, transparency, accountability<br />

and dialogue about technology that facilitates effective<br />

strategy adoption;<br />

• Ensuring compatibility, integration and avoiding<br />

redundancy;<br />

• Maximizing return on technology investment through<br />

controlled spending;<br />

• Securing the Company’s data;<br />

• Keeping the IT function proactive from an innovation<br />

perspective, providing ideas to the business; and<br />

• To create a culture of paperless environment within the<br />

Company.<br />

Policy For Safety & Security Of Records<br />

Safety and security of IT data / record is ensured through<br />

effective implementation of the Company’s policy for “Safety<br />

of Records” which includes access controls by way of<br />

security codes/passwords etc., in addition to establishment<br />

of on-site and remote reserve sites to maintain real-time<br />

backup of all primary data. All record must be retained<br />

for as long as it is required to meet legal, administrative,<br />

operational and other requirements of the Company.<br />

INVESTORS’ GRIEVANCES POLICY<br />

Investor queries and complaints constitute an important<br />

voice of Investor, and this policy details grievance handling<br />

through a structured grievance framework. Grievance<br />

policy is supported by a review mechanism, to minimize<br />

the recurrence of similar issues in future. The Company’s<br />

Grievances policy follows the following principles:<br />

• Investors are treated fairly at all times.<br />

• Complaints raised by Investors are dealt with courtesy<br />

and in a timely manner.<br />

• Investors are informed of avenues to raise their queries<br />

and complaints within the organization, and their rights<br />

if they are not satisfied with the resolution of their<br />

complaints.<br />

• Queries and complaints are treated efficiently and fairly.<br />

• The Company’s employees work in good faith and<br />

without prejudice, towards the interests of the Investors.<br />

Detailed Company information regarding financial highlights,<br />

investor information, share pattern/value and other requisite<br />

information specified under the relevant regulations, has<br />

been placed on the corporate website of the Company,<br />

which is updated on regular basis. In order to promote<br />

investor relations and facilitate access to the Company for<br />
