En el Perú, de acuerdo al rol que
le corresponde, el SENASA tiene la
función de proponer las normas y las
sanciones necesarias para dar garantía
del producto orgánico en los mercados
nacional e internacional. La
autoridad sanitaria ha gestionado la
actualización de un nuevo reglamento
de producción orgánica que permitirá
mejorar su estatus en el control
de la producción a organismos de certificación.
En suma, las acciones acordadas
permitirán proteger y fomentar la
producción orgánica certificada en
los 19 países que conforman la CIAO,
Para ello, la capacitación, la difusión
y la sensibilización de productores
ecológicos y de consumidores de estos
productos, serán líneas de acción importantes.
Gracias a la plataforma técnica
desarrollada, se impulsó trabajos
hacia una agricultura orgánica que
contribuirán a la seguridad alimentaria,
al desarrollo económico y a la
