Como parte de las campañas de<br />

vacunación contra la PPC, hasta septiembre,<br />

se vacunó a más de 28 mil<br />

cerdos en 84 distritos de la región<br />

Junín. El control realizado en dichas<br />

zonas constituye un buen ejemplo de<br />

prevención, ya que no se ha registrado<br />

ningún brote de la enfermedad.<br />

the Peruvian government though the<br />

Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation<br />

received international recognition<br />

as a country free of foot and mouth<br />

disease without vaccines and free of<br />

the small ruminants’ disease.<br />
