El SENASA tiene el compromiso de
simplificar procesos y otorgar transparencia
a las agroexportaciones sin
descuidar el cumplimiento estricto
de los estándares internacionales y
los requisitos fitosanitarios que exige
el país importador.
Actualmente, los procesos de certificación
duran 24 horas y, mediante
la metodología de certificación basada
en perfiles de riesgo fitosanitario,
se facilitará y agilizará más el mismo
en aquellas empacadoras con buen
desempeño y que cumplen con las
normas fitosanitarias.
Estas acciones se enmarcan en la
iniciativa gubernamental de duplicar
las exportaciones para el año 2021 y
reducir a cero el uso del papel en los
procesos y trámites administrativos,
fomentando el intercambio de documentos
electrónicos con valor legal
y eliminando barreras burocráticas
y trámites innecesarios que generen
sobrecostos, tanto a personas como a
empresas.

to agro-exports, without neglecting
the strict compliance of international
standards and plant health
requirements demanded by the
importing country.
Currently, certification processes
last 24 hours and, through the
certification methodology based on
plant health risk profiles, it will be
easier and more efficient for those
packers that show good performance
and who comply with plant health
regulations.
These actions are part of the
government’s initiative to double
exports by 2021 and reduce the use
of paper in administrative processes
and procedures to zero, therefore
encouraging the exchange of electronic
documents with legal value, which
will eliminate bureaucratic barriers
and unnecessary procedures that
