DEWORMING DAY – 10-08-2017
On August 10th2017,Deworming day was observed in Anganwadi where Albendazole 400mg was given to
children of anganwadi along with anganwadi teacher and helper. 20 children were present.We visited the
field practice area ‘D’ block ,Medar block where we visited house to house and provided Albendazole tablets
to underfive children and school drop out adoloscents and made them consume under our supervision.We
gave awareness and health education on malnutrition of children, adolescents and consequences of worm
infestation .
Breast Feeding Week – 11-08-2017
We observed Breast feeding weak in the anganwadi on 11-08-2017. Where we addressed antenatal, postnatal
and other mothers and their relatives and educated them about importance of breastfeeding, advantages
and correct methods of breast feeding, weaning and supplementary foods through pictures and power point
presentation. Also we cleared their doubts about the myths concerned with breast feeding.
