Dr. Mamatha H.K
Coordinator, Department of Health System Management Studies
Dr. Mamatha H K has about seventeen years of rich experience in the area of Dentistry, Management and
Teaching. She Possess good knowledge of business communication and use of computer systems. Earlier, she
has worked as Project coordinator at JSS University since September 2010. Appointed as faculty and course
coordinator for MBA Hospital administration course at JSS University in October 2013; she has been catering to
the administrative and academic needs of the Department of Health System Management Studies and steered
it to success.

Institution achievements:
The department being the youngest in the Deemed-to-be-University has been able to make significant
development in terms of infrastructure and human resource since establishment. The research activities have
been substantial, and all faculty are pursuing their PhD at various levels of research. Placement has been good
with graduating students getting placed immediately. Internship and hospital visits have been contributing to
academics as well as placement for students.
Future goals:
Commencement of new programs in emerging areas is proposed in the next academic year. The initiatives
will be towards realising the short- and long-term goals identified as per the Strategic plan of the department.
