Outcome<br />
The clinic is widely popular and has been catering to the needs of the underprivileged. We have<br />
treated around 171 patients and many more are in the active phase of various treatments.<br />
Considering the socio economic status of many of our patients who cannot afford expensive<br />
treatment procedures this special clinic is a major initiative which scores high on our University’s<br />
social responsibility.<br />

Breathe Healthy<br />
“Breathe Healthy” special clinic is an Interprofessional collaborative clinic for the<br />
care and management of children with Nasal Obstruction. Nasal obstruction is<br />
one of the commonest health disorders among children. The presence of Nasal<br />
Obstruction can seriously affect one’s quality of life. Nasal Obstruction is also a<br />
significant component of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and can severely affect<br />
the quality of sleep.<br />
The timely management of Nasal Obstruction is very important for the normal<br />
growth and development of the child.<br />
At “Breathe Healthy”, we offer Interprofessional (IP) care and management for<br />
children with Nasal Obstruction. The uniqueness of Breath Healthy special clinic<br />
is its Interprofessional care & management offered by the Dept of Paediatrics,<br />
Dept of ENT & Dept of Orthodontics under one roof.Our IP team comprises of<br />
Paediatrician, ENT Surgeon, Orthodontist and Paediatric Dentist. In addition to<br />
this, we undertake research activities to provide the highest quality of care for our<br />
patients.<br />
