College has positioned itself at 10th place in Natonal institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the last three<br />
consecutive years (2016,2017 and <strong>2018</strong>) by Ministry of Human Resource, and Development, Govt. of India, New<br />
Delhi. Pharm.D program offered at the institution is the only program in Asia which is certified by Accreditation<br />
Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE) USA. B.Pharm program offered at this college is accredited by National<br />
Board of Accreditation (NBA) & AICTE, New Delhi. Quality management system of the college is certified by<br />
ISO 9001-2015. College has NABL accredited drug testing laboratory which is approved by Govt. of Karantaka.<br />
Quacquarelli Simonds (QS) has rated the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)program with 3 stars.<br />

Dr. T M Pramod Kumar TM is presently working as Principal and Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics.<br />
With over 24 years of teaching and research experience, he has published more than 117 scientific papers in<br />
peer reviewed national and international journals. He has guided 56 PG students, 6 PhD candidates and presently<br />
guiding 06 Ph.D students. He is member of various professional national organizations. He was deputed from JSS<br />
University as subject expert of Pharmaceutical Technology for WHO sponsored training program for pharmacy<br />
teachers of Srilanka at Jayewardene University, Colombo, Srilanka. His area of research includes developing<br />
newer drug delivery systems and policy research in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs. He was coordinator of<br />
Industry Institute partnership cell of the college and was abe to get excellent placement for the students. He is<br />
instrumental in starting Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs for the first time in India and<br />
would get Regulatory affairs studio in the college. He was also part of the “Knowledge Consortium of Regulatory<br />
Sciences, an initiative of United State Pharmacopiea”. He has been selected and approved as Honorary member<br />
and Senior Advisor in National Advisory Committee of “Associations of regulatory affairs professionals” in India.<br />
He is a member of Regional Advisory Board of “Higher Education Skill Development and Research (HESDAR)<br />
Center”, Mysuru. Pharmacy council of India had deputed him for “National Survey on Spurious and Not of<br />
standard Quality drugs”, a Government of India initiative, as an observer for the survey conducted by National<br />
Institute of Biologicals, New Delhi. Currently, he is group leader of Special interest Group (SIG) of JSS University<br />
on “3D Printing in Health Care”, which is one of the disruptive technology that is going to change the way drugs<br />
and devices are being tailor made to an individual.<br />
